UNIT 5 ~ 3.4 + Discovering Jupiter's Moons

DAY 1

• Print the study guide
  
• Gather lab supplies: Blue, yellow, red and black pens/pencils/crayons/markers
• Watch the video for Lesson 3.4-3.4.3 and fill out the study guide
  
•  Read Chapter 3 Section 3.4-3.4.3 (pages 68-71)
  
• In your notebook:
• Write “Learning Check” followed by the chapter and section (ex. Learning Check 1.1)
• Answer #1-4 on page 71 in a few complete sentences. Use specific details and proper vocabulary.

DAY 2

• Read Chapter 4 Section 4.1.2-4.1.4 (pages 81-87)
  
• In your notebook:
  
• Write “Learning Check” followed by the chapter and section (ex. Learning Check 1.1)
• Answer #3-4 on page 87 in a few complete sentences. Use specific details and proper vocabulary.
  
• Study the Vocabulary and Quiz Information sections of the study guide

• Print and complete the Unit 5 observation exercise
• You will only need to turn in the answers to the questions, not the model. 
• Study the Vocabulary and Quiz Information sections of the study guide
  

DAY 4

• Before class
• Gather all lab supplies: Blue, yellow, red and black pens/pencils/crayons/markers
• Print the Unit 5 lab handout
• Attend LIVE class or do lab at co-op meeting or with a parent  

DAY 5

• Review the Vocabulary and Quiz Information sections of the study guide
• Take the Quiz and repeat for mastery
• Submit the Unit materials in the following order: Study guide, Homework (in order by day), Observation exercise (only the answers to the questions, NOT the model), Unit lab notebook pages, Pages 2-3 of lab handout
