Good morning, Oxrosians!
As we embark on our second week of work, here are a few notes:

1. IMPROVEMENT: Try to make this week’s work better than the first. Complete more of your homework, make it neater, make sure you have scheduled enough time for each subject, then stick to that schedule and on Friday, turn in what you have, rest, and return ready to improve even more next week as we pause for Review & Assessment Week (more on that below).

2. HOMEWORK FEEDBACK: As teachers grade your weekly work, they not only give a grade, but also provide feedback. Make sure you read this, so you know how to improve. If you don’t know how to read the feedback, ask a parent or sibling, head to one of Mr. Rolling’s tutor times, or go to…

3. TUTOR TIMES: Teachers’ tutor times are being posted. Stop by and use them!

4. REVIEW & ASSESSMENT WEEK: NEXT week we have classes at their regular times, but instead of introducing new material we pause and consider how things have gone and how we can improve. Follow the Agenda for each class.

5. LABOR DAY: The school is closed for Labor Day next week on Monday, September 2nd.   Due to Review & Assessment Week, classes that usually meet on Monday will NOT be made up.

This week the Church celebrates St. Monica, her son St. Augustine, and the martyrdom of St. John the Baptist. Through their intercession, may we be people who pray persistently for ourselves and others to know the truth (like St. Monica) and witness to truth in our words (like St. Augustine) and deeds (like St. John the Baptist).
